Create a one-of-a-kind embroidered keepsake using meaningful clothing — baby outfits, memorial pieces, loved ones’ shirts, blankets, swaddles, or any special fabric you want transformed into something you can wear and treasure.
Design Details:
• Center-chest appliqué using the fabric you provide
• Custom text such as MAMA, MOM, DAD, GRANDMA, LOVE, names, or initials
• Letter sizing adjusted based on the number of letters
• Optional year beneath the main text (ex: MAMA EST 2020)
• Sleeve personalization available where selected
• Thread colors may be adjusted slightly for best visibility and overall balance

How Much Fabric To Send
How Much Fabric To Send
For larger designs, one crewneck typically requires one long-sleeve baby sleeper (NB–3m), multiple clothing items, or one blanket or swaddle. Two matching crewnecks generally require one long-sleeve sleeper size 6m+ or a blanket. Short-sleeve items have less usable fabric, so sending 2–3 pieces is recommended. Fabric is not limited to baby clothing — adult shirts, memorial pieces, blankets, and other meaningful textiles are all welcome.
For smaller designs, less fabric is needed. One crewneck can usually be made from one long-sleeve baby sleeper (NB–3m) or a single clothing item with enough solid fabric. Additional pieces are only necessary if the clothing is very small or if you would like each letter to use a different fabric. Short-sleeve items may require 2–3 pieces due to limited fabric.

How It Works

• Mail your fabric items to: hlsembroidery, PO Box 4097, Houston, TX 77210
NOTE: Customer is responsible for mailing in fabrics, including cost to mail
• Include your name and order number inside the package
• Items must be received within 30 days or the order will be cancelled
• Turnaround is 3–6 weeks after your fabrics arrive
• I will lay out the fabrics to create the most cohesive design
• If no thread colors are listed, I will choose tones that best complement your fabrics
• Remaining fabric will be returned with your order if requested at additional shipping cost if chosen.

• Hand wash is recommended to best protect embroidery
• If machine washing is necessary, turn garment inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Do not bleach
• Hang or lay flat to dry for best results; Do not tumble dry items with Vinyl.
• Iron inside out with caution — do not iron directly on embroidery.
Proper care will help preserve the stitching, shape, and overall quality of your item.

Turnaround for memory and keepsake items is typically 2–4 weeks from the date your customer-supplied item is received, not from the purchase date. Because these pieces are created using sentimental materials, timing may vary depending on fabric type, condition, and design complexity.
If you have a specific deadline, please email info@hlsembroidery.com prior to ordering to confirm availability. Limited rush processing may be available depending on current workload and project details. If approved, a rush processing add-on will be provided and must be purchased before work begins.

If your order arrives defective or incorrect, please email clear photos to info@hlsembroidery.com within 24 hours of delivery so the issue can be reviewed.
Upon approval, a replacement or store credit will be issued for the affected item only.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a package is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit due to USPS, please contact USPS directly to file a claim.
