Bridal keepsakes are created using fabric pieces from wedding gowns, veils, or similar materials. These fabrics are often delicate, layered, and uniquely constructed, making each piece one of a kind.

Orders are best placed once fabric pieces are prepared and ready to be mailed. Fabric pieces should be sent within 7 days of purchase, unless otherwise discussed in advance.

Fabric pieces should be free of beading, sequins, or dense embellishments in the embroidery areas. In some cases, it may be possible to work around certain embellishments; however, additional fabric is required to allow for proper placement and flexibility during embroidery. While every effort is made to accommodate design details when possible, working around embellishments cannot always be guaranteed.

Pieces should also be large enough to allow for hooping, placement, and stability during stitching. Fabric pieces are typically around 14″ × 14″, with larger pieces recommended, especially if sleeve personalization is selected.

Each bridal keepsake is custom from start to finish, and work begins once materials are received.

Minor layout adjustments may be made to ensure stitch quality and overall balance.

Please ensure all garments and fabrics are clean and clearly labeled if sending multiple pieces.

How It Works

• Please include your email and best contact information in the notes box
• Mail your fabric items to: hlsembroidery, PO Box 4097, Houston, TX 77210               
NOTE: Customer is responsible for mailing in fabrics, including cost to mail
• Include your name and order number inside the package
• Items must be received within 30 days or the order will be cancelled
• Turnaround is 3–6 weeks after your fabrics arrive
• I will lay out the fabrics to create the most cohesive design
• If no thread colors are listed, I will choose tones that best complement your fabrics
• Remaining fabric will be returned with your order if requested at additional shipping cost if chosen. 

• Hand wash is recommended to best protect embroidery
• If machine washing is necessary, turn garment inside out and wash cold on a gentle cycle
• Do not bleach
• Hang or lay flat to dry for best results; Do not tumble dry items with Vinyl.
• Iron inside out with caution — do not iron directly on embroidery.

Proper care will help preserve the stitching, shape, and overall quality of your item.

Turnaround for memory and keepsake items is typically 2–4 weeks from the date your customer-supplied item is received, not from the purchase date. Because these pieces are created using sentimental materials, timing may vary depending on fabric type, condition, and design complexity.

Limited rush processing may be available depending on current workload and project details. If approved, a rush processing add-on will be provided and must be purchased before work begins.

All sales are final.  Because each piece is handmade and often custom or made-to-order, returns and exchanges are not accepted. 

Before placing your order, please double -check all details, including spelling, colors, sizing, and personalization information.  hlsembroidery is not responsible for errors submitted by the customer.

If your order arrives defective or incorrect, please email clear photos to info@hlsembroidery.com within 24 hours of delivery so the issue can be reviewed.
Upon approval, a replacement or store credit will be issued for the affected item only.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.  If a package is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit due to USPS, please contact USPS directly to file a claim. 

Thread colors, design scale, and placement may vary slightly based on the garment and size selected. Colors may also appear different depending on your screen settings. Each piece is made to order with thoughtful adjustments for the best overall look.

Each piece is machine embroidered and finished in my studio with close attention to detail. From thread choice to final stitch, every item is thoughtfully created to be worn, loved, and kept.

Because each piece is made individually, small variations in stitching, texture, and placement may occur — making every item one-of-a-kind in the best way.
